Lori earned her Master of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in taxation from the University of Colorado. Shortly after graduating, Lori embarked on her professional career as a staff accountant at GMS Surgent. As she diligently pursued her CPA qualification, she ultimately attained a role as Partner with the firm.
Lori leads GMS Surgent's audit and attestation teams, concentrating on construction, real estate development and non-registered investment companies. Her approach extends beyond financial reporting to provide clients with customized insights to enhance internal quality control processes and solutions to meet challenges.
Lori oversees GMS Surgent’s internal quality control committee that helps ensure the firm and its employees maintain standards and adhere to ethical requirements as governed by the AICPA’s Code of Professional Conduct.
